FAQ -> Integrations -> Can I integrate my account with an SMS gateway?
Can I integrate my account with an SMS gateway?
Yes, in LiveWebinar it is possible to integrate your account with an SMS gateway.
To do this, go to your account settings and select the SMS Gateway tab. Then fill in the required information.
Sending SMS messages with links
Sending SMS messages that include links to events or registration pages requires a special configuration on the SMS system side (the SMS gateway). Not every SMS gateway allows messages with links to be sent by default, because some systems may treat messages containing links as potential spam or phishing.
Therefore, the SMS gateway client (your account in the SMS sending system, e.g. SMSAPI) must have the “links in messages” feature enabled.
SMSAPI
You should contact the SMSAPI support team (e.g., via chat or email) to inform them that the SMS messages sent from your account will include links — for example, to events, webinars, or registration pages. After you submit this request, the support team will enable the appropriate feature on your account, allowing you to safely send messages containing links without the risk of them being blocked.
Twilio
Twilio SMS messages must support sending links (website URLs) in the message content.
