FAQ -> Forms -> Do I need to collect participants' names on the form?
Do I need to collect participants' names on the form?
When you register participants through registration forms, you can collect various types of information from them. The form can include several fields for participants to fill out, including a field for their first and last name. This data will then automatically appear in materials related to the event, such as participant lists and reports.
It's important to note that if the last name field is left blank on the registration form, meaning this information is not collected from registrants, it will also be blank in the reports – this data will not be pulled in automatically from any other source. Also, when using the "search" function to find registrants, the missing last name will not be searchable.
