Each product in its arsenal - from GoTo Meeting to GoTo Webcast, GoTo Stage, and GoTo Training – serves a different purpose and comes with its own separate billing. Users may find it inconvenient and confusing that each product is tailor-made for unique purposes and billed separately. This can present challenges for users who want a more integrated solution. On the contrary, LiveWebinar offers a consolidated, all-in-one solution for many different use cases.  

Therefore, GoTo Webinar seems to be designed solely for hosting webinars. This means its scope is limited and it's not suited for larger, more complex event platforms. 

Another significant downside of the GoTo Webinar is that its lower cost plans are rather limited in features. A bulk of its highly practical functionalities, like livestreaming, sharing videos on YouTube, CRM integrations, and recording events, become accessible only once you have subscribed to the costly Pro Plan, priced at $199 per month. For those operating on a tighter budget, this can be a significant hurdle, as they might find the much-needed features missing in the lower-tier plans. 

Another drawback of GoTo Webinar in comparison with LiveWebinar is that there are actually no features specifically made for selling. There’s very little customization for the webinar registration page and call-to-action offers. Also, the customization on the email is quite limited. You can only customize the email body text. Therefore, if you need to use webinars for strict marketing reasons, GoTo Webinar may appear insufficient for you.
